URGENT: Box has just been delivered and is sitting safely right inside my main entrance door. Need someone who can come right now this afternoon to carry it up 8 internal steps into the living room. Ready for immediate pickup. Looking for 2 people to handle a quick swap of two portable air conditioners over a very short flight of stairs (7-8 steps total 1. Bring UP: Carry a new 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner (approx. 30kg) from the front door entrance up the 7-8 steps into the property. 2. PLACE ON MAT: Place the new 12,000 BTU unit directly onto the black floor mat inside the room (as shown in the photos). 3, Take DOWN: Take the old Daewoo 9000 BTU air conditioner (approx. 19kg) down the steps. 4. PACK IT: Place the old Daewoo unit directly into its empty cardboard retail box, which is already sitting at the bottom of the stairs by the door. This is a very straightforward 2-man job that will take less than 5 mins total.

I have a new electric curtain track that I would like fitting

Hi, I need a local handyman to help finish setting up my portable air conditioner for a UK tilt-and-turn window. The AC unit is already completely unboxed. I just need you to: 1. Stick the adhesive Velcro tape and fabric zip-seal around the window frame. (I have a steady chair you can stand on to reach the top). 2. Twist and click the plastic exhaust hose onto the back of the AC unit. 3. Poke the hose through the fabric zip, tighten the zippers around it, and plug the unit into the wall socket to make sure it runs fine. I have the fabric kit and the AC ready to go. No tools or drilling required, just scissors to cut the tape to size. Should take about 10-15 minutes total.

I have a GoodHome Takoma 4500 BTU portable air conditioner that has developed a fan issue. The unit powers on but the fan motor has stopped blowing air out entirely (even in "Fan Only" mode). After running through basic troubleshooting and clearing the filter, I suspect it needs a new fan start capacitor or fan motor. Could you let me know if this is something you can inspect and repair, and what your diagnostic/repair fees look like?

Hi, I need someone to help set up my new Daewoo 9000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner in my living room. The job requires no drilling or tools. You will just need to:Wipe down the dark window frame and apply the stick-on Velcro tape from the kit. Attach the fabric universal window seal to the Velcro on a standard UK top-hung window. Place an anti-vibration rubber mat on the floor, set the AC on top of it next to the window, and connect the exhaust hose through the fabric zipper. Ensure the hose is angled securely away from the neighbour's window on the right.The AC unit weighs about 19 kg but has wheels. It just needs to be positioned correctly. I will have the AC, the fabric window kit, and the floor mat all ready in the room before you arrive.
