I need help loading and unloading some heavy items (together with me) as part of a house move. Moving from AL109BP (1st floor flat) to AL49JS (house, ground gloor, about 10 minutes away). Items are 1. Already disassembled pieces of 2.5m Ikea Pax wardrobe 2. Couple of heavy metal speaker stands with gaming peripherals attached (each about 20-30kg). 3. Couple of chairs. I will provide the Van, and be the second lifter. Items need to be moved from the flat to the van, and then unloaded at the house. I estimate 2 hours to load, 15 minutes drive, 1 hour to unload. help moving a 55kg chest of drawers upstairs I've added 2 images as requested. The drawer unit is 100cm wide and 120cm tall. It has 5 drawers, which I can't see are removable to reduce weight. Packed weight was 58kg. Unpacked I assume its somewhere around 55kg. The stairs have a bend at the base but are then straight. I would think it's a 2 man job given the size of the unit.
