Task Description: Looking for an experienced carpet fitter for a first-floor flat in SW London, total area about 41 sqm. Includes two bedrooms, one living room, and two short hallways (one hallway with 5 steps). Work includes fitting carpet and underlay. Condition: -Old carpet has been removed -Subfloor has been levelled -Skirting boards are already installed with unfortunately no clearance at the bottom (flush with the floor). Please ensure the skirting boards remain neat and visually intact after carpet installation, by whichever method you see fit. Materials I will provide: -Carpet rolls (with 17–40 cm edge allowance) -3 rolls of 9mm underlay (47.1 sqm total) -50m joining tape -240ft gripper rods -Several door strips If these materials are not sufficient, please let me know in advance. Other small fitting consumables (e.g. adhesive, seaming tape if needed) can either be provided by me or supplied by you, but please specify the exact product and quantity required. Purchase and refit a new piece of carpet

Job 1: Carpet has come away from the 3x door bars on the landing and some of the wall edges. It needs to be stretched back onto the tack strips and both the underlay and carpet glued down at those edges with carpet adhesive. Carpet spray adhesive and carpet stretcher provided. Job 2: The magnetic door seal strips in the shower need to be replaced. The old ones have become brittle and no longer hold the door closed, so they need to be removed and the new ones clipped on. There is some sealant on the strip on the glass wall which should come off easily, and it might require some new sealant at the bottom. The new seal strips are onsite ready to install.

I had to take out my carpet, as I was making space for built-in wardrobes and now I need to lay the carpet back. The room is roughly 12sqm. The gripper rods are present and just need to be moved to the correct space. Need someone with the necessary gear for the job (carpet grippers, carpet tucker, etc.). The job needs to be done on some day after 28th of June (as that's when the wardrobes will be fitted).
