Need someone today (Sat 8th March) for a small job just to install 4 carpet strips for an elderly gent at high risk of falls. The previous carpet strips were removed partially and not replaced due to the gent requiring hospitalisation at the time so could not continue the works. I need you to collect/provide the strips and fit them so that a wheelchair can go over them. Any basic flat/flat ish silver budget strip is fine. The flatter the better so it's less risk of zimmer frame catching when he is walking with assistance from others. Fit new carpets (and underlay) to three bedrooms. 2 of the bedrooms will need to have the carpets removed and the third (larger room) has the carpet and underlay taken off. Carpets are ordered and will be on site. Waste removal required of old carpets. Prefer experienced carpet fitters. Will not take very long but if done well we will doing the stairs and landing in due course and would like to hire the same person, so more work to come! Total carpet area is c.48m2 for the three rooms.
