I have already purchased all the premium materials, so I am looking for a fitting-only service. Project Details: • Total Area: Approximately 36-40 sqm of carpet. • Living Room: 4.80m x 4.00m. • Hallway: One large L-shaped hallway (approx. 4.00m x 1.50m joined with 3.85m x 1.17m). • Subfloor: [In here, mention if it's Concrete or Wood]. Materials Provided by Me: • Carpet: Silken Serenity by Cormar (Malt color, Twist Pile with Hessian backing). • Underlay: Cloud 9 Cumulus 11mm High-Density PU Foam. • Grippers: 3 packs of Premium Carpet Grippers (total 45.72m). • Door Bars: I have purchased my own Z-edges for all thresholds. Key Requirements: • L-Shape Expertise: Must be skilled in creating invisible seams/joins, especially for the turn in the L-shaped hallway to ensure pile direction remains consistent. • 11mm Underlay: Experience with thick, high-density underlay is essential for a professional finish. • Door Trimming: Please let me know if you can trim the bottom of the doors if they catch on the new 11mm profile. • Tools: Must bring all professional tools (power stretcher, heat iron for joins, etc.). I’m looking for a carpet fitter to re-stretch and refit a carpet that’s come loose along one edge of a room. • The carpet has lifted off the gripper rod along one wall (approx. 3 m) and around half of a bay window section. • It’s come away cleanly and just needs to be re-stretched and re-tucked onto the existing gripper rods. • The gripper rods appear secure and in good condition. • The edge also runs across a brass door threshold, so it’ll need to be tucked neatly back under that plate. • The floor is a concrete slab (not floorboards). It’s a small job but I’d like it done properly by someone with the right tools. Thanks, Katy
