Skirting board to be done in bathroom about 2m long

Hi, I need some skirting boards installed in my hallway and living room. The skirting boards have already been brought, i also have the adhesive. The installation across the area equates to total of 22 metres coverage.

I have had an internal wall plastered over and now i need to match the skirting with the rest of the wall on both sides. I do have some skirting saved from another wall but it doesnt really fit. Not sure if it can be made to fit or whether we need to start again?

Water is seeping out from behind the bathroom skirting boards, causing paint bubbling and swelling of the wood. It looks like a slow leak from behind the wall or floor.
