Hi, I’ve recently purchased a flat in Brixton and looking to get a couple of jobs done: 1. Boxing in a bathtub – I should say that the bathtub is a little wiggly. I’d like a neat and durable solution that complements the existing bathroom style. Also, I would need the wall behind the toilet panelled. I attached the picture of the bathroom so you can see its current state. 2. Installing skirting boards – This would be for the bedroom, livingroom and the hallway. I would need skirting boards for the halfway and living room. The bedroom has skirting boards but those aren’t installed. See pictures attached, there are pipes under the windows that i would like to be covered, would this be possible to do? Would you be able to provide me with an estimate of how much it would cost to 1) fix the bathroom and 2) install the skirting boards throughout the flat (floor plan attached).

Professional painter who is willing to do the job as described in title. It’s a 1 bed flat (527 sq ft). Skirting boards and door frames might need repair/filling in before repainting.

I need a handyman to come and remove a tile skirting board from beneath a shower and replace it with a wooden skirting board that can be screwed on and off and then also trim the end of a skirting board in the kitchen. This is so both skirting boards allow easy access to the cavity behind them as I had a previous rat infestation (that a treatment has been sucessfully completed for), so that builders can come and pest proof my flat.

We have very high skirting boards and couldn’t find a radiator cover to fit properly. We have bought one which needs cutting so that it can sit flat/be fixed to the wall.

We've a base/skirting in our kitchen they no longer stays in place. Whenever the dishwasher is opened the board pops out again. It looks like the clipping mechanism has broken off. It's probably a simple and quick job for someone with the proper know how. I don't know how much it would cost so have only suggested a provisional budget.

Kitchen wall isn't feeling damp, but it needs fixing - 10 years after our refurb, the wall is looking cracked. the skirting board also needs some fixing. Which means we need to repaint the wall and skirting board once the work has been done.

I’m looking to get some sections of skirting board cut to size and fitted in my kitchen. I’ve recently had some walls replastered in my kitchen so certain sections of the wall are now without skirting. I’ve found the skirting to match but need it cut to size and installed neatly in the gaps - it’s only about 1 metres worth in total.

I need a handyman/woman to cut my new skirting boards to size (please note I do not own a mitre saw so you would need to have one) and fit them in my living room only. I recently replastered the room so all of the walls except for two have already had the existing skirting removed. But two sides need them taking off. I have purchased the boards and the glue, just need someone to cut and fit please!

I got a new washing machine and due a skirting board sticking out, I can't get it in. I need help removing the skirting board in this area so that I can slide it into place. See the photos. In the photo you can see how it chipped when we tried to shove it in. It does fit - is the same size as my old machine, but whoever put that one in must have fit the kitchen around it.
