Why hire Airtasker architects in East London?

Planning to renovate your home, expand your shop, or build something totally new? Then it’s time to call in a professional, licensed architect! If you’re from the hip cultural hub that is East London, you’re in luck - because you can now use Airtasker to find an architect near you.

Your architect not only helps you get the design you want - they’ll suggest design possibilities you never imagined, help avoid errors, and work with you to build a great investment. On the legal side, they can also help you navigate the local planning authority. This is something that not every builder or contractor can provide, so consulting with an architect can prove to be essential to your project.

No job too big or small! Unlike fancy design and architecture firms that can cost you a pretty penny, the architects you find on Airtasker can offer you a bit more in terms of cost-efficient contracts.

Another advantage of this platform is that it connects you with specialists in your area. Not everyone has the time to go to the City. And not everyone can wait for a city-based architect’s available schedule. So, finding a residential architect in your East London neighbourhood is incredibly convenient.

Lastly, it takes mere minutes to find an architect via Airtasker. That already includes sharing the details of your project, asking for quotes, and going through customer reviews!

To start requesting an architect or building expert near you, tap the “Post a task” button on this page. Fill out all the details of your project, such as what you want to build, when you want to meet with the architect, where your project is located, and your budget.

Once you’ve completed your task post, tap “Get quotes” and wait for offers from nearby architects. Then, you can compare quotes, read customer ratings and reviews, and pick the Tasker who best suits your needs. All this can take place within a few minutes, so you can start discussing your project as soon as you like.

Architects aren’t the only experts you can find via Airtasker. You can book buildershandymen, and even interior designers through our platform. Putting together a team for your construction project can be done in half an hour, tops! And what’s great is that your entire team can come from right within your neighbourhood, so you won’t need to worry about them not giving enough attention to your project. After all, with their help, your home or office might just be the next iconic spot in the community.

And after you’ve wrapped up your construction project, you can count on our platform to help you with the after-builders cleanupwaste removal, and organising. No need to stress out about clearing out the rubble, vacuuming dust, or hauling your furniture into place. Our platform can connect you to a wide range of services that’ll help you get all these done quickly.

Since Airtasker’s construction and building specialists can help you save so much time, you can now afford to take a break and explore your diverse neighbourhood!

Want to use your free time to gather some design inspiration? Take a trip to Broadway Market in Hackney if you want an industrial look inspired by the skyline and graffitied walls. Or if your taste is a bit more artisanal, you can take a page from the hipsters, artists, and shop owners along Jackman Street. With all this cultural inspiration just a stone's throw away, your building project will surely make its mark along the streets or skyline of East London.

What do architects do?

If you’re looking to build a new home, renovate your property, add an extension or even give new life to your garden, you’ll want to speak to an architect or designer before you hire a builder or landscaper.

As well as creating a blueprint for your project, architects can take care of council permits and other paperwork that may be needed first. Make sure to check that this is part of the service you’re paying for before you sign off on the project.

An experienced architect can help to make your whole project easier, not only with building permits, but by project managing the whole construction and finding builders and other tradies to complete the work.

Residential architects

Residential architects not only create plans for a house, granny flat or garage, they also help with all the relevant permits. You may find that some architects have a specialist area or style, while other architects offer more general services. Checking their profiles can give you an idea of the work they’ve done on similar projects.

Draftsmen

Depending on your project, you may find that a draftsman is a better fit. Draftspeople create technical drawings that you can pass on to a builder to work with. These aren’t as well qualified as architects, and as such cannot help with projects that require a permit, however, they are suitable for renovations.

Be aware that in Queensland, draftspeople cannot work directly with a client and must be hired through an architect instead.

Landscape architects

If you’re overhauling your property, don’t forget about your garden. A landscape architect will help you to get the most from your yard, in a way that other designers or architects can for your home. From simple things like adding flower beds and reinvigorating your lawn, a landscape architect can add value to your property with decking, retainer walls and swimming pools, all done to your standards and budget.
