NEED FURNITURE EXPERT. I have a large, 10 seater wooden dining table which is heavily used, and the top is splintering throughout. I think its quite soft wood, because using regular sand paper to try to remove the splintering sections doesn't work, and it simply pulls up more splinters. I think we need someone who has a proper electric sanding tool to come and mend the surface so its smooth, and then finish it with either wax or matte lacquer, whatever if more suitable for a dining table which is used daily. - Due date: Flexible

Paint is from Little Greene Living / dining room is being painted. Roughly include 40sqm of wall space to be painted. Ceilings are approx 2.8m high. No need for skirting or ceiling to be painted. Radiators will not be removed so need the right size roller to paint behind them (1inch of space roughly). Very minor hairline cracks to be fixed - a few in the room that need to be fixed before painting. Would expect the regular prep work before painting.

Redecorating a dining room approx size is 300cm X 380 cm. Prepare walls, undercoat as required, paint walls, woods inc window frame, skirting boards and picture rail. Paint door and ceiling. One wall on chimney breast may need replastered. Will supply paints.
