Hi, I’m looking for an experienced timber floor repair specialist to assess and carry out a localised spot repair on a solid timber floor in a rental property. The damage consists of scratches and shallow gouges caused by a couch. My goal is to make the area as minimal and least noticeable as possible, without sanding or refinishing the entire room. Property details: Solid timber floor, satin finish (not laminate) Damage limited to small areas where the couch legs were Located near Ocean Shores (Northern Rivers NSW) Rental property — spot repair only Scope of work (ideal): Localised filling where required Careful colour matching Blending/feathering into the existing finish No full-room sanding or refinishing I’m specifically looking for someone with demonstrated experience repairing solid timber floors. 1 year old deck. needs restaining if possible product that can last longer. Currently stained with Cabots water base stain-Merbau + polyurethane seal. which did not really last long.
