We have 4 identical small sensor PCBs (110 x 80 mm) that need through-hole soldering - about 70 joints per board, ~280 total. All parts supplied in labeled bags: axial diodes and resistors, disc and electrolytic caps, coin supercaps, female pin-header sockets, screw terminals, and one small module on 4 pins. What you'll do: 1. Solder the 4 boards following our illustrated step-by-step guide (board map, polarity rules, soldering order) - provided when you arrive. Someone is on hand the whole time for questions. 2. Send quick photo checkpoints in the chat as each stage completes (first board gets checked before you continue - catches any polarity slips early). 3. Clip leads, tidy up. Quality bar: clean wetted fillets, no bridges, correct polarity on diodes and caps. Setup: comfortable desk, good light. We have a soldering station, solder, flux and cutters - or bring your own iron if you prefer. Time: roughly 2-3 hours. Thursday afternoon preferred; we're flexible on the exact start time. Location: flat near Kings Cross (N1). Exact address and contact shared via Airtasker messages once assigned. You should have prior through-hole soldering experience (electronics hobbyist, electrician with an electronics background, PCB rework, etc). Mention your soldering experience in your offer - photos of past work are a big plus.

Hi, I am looking for a qualified electrician (NICEIC/NAPIT registered) for a rewire of a 1960 three bedroom semi-detached house in Slough (consumer box, meter etc. under the stairs, concrete ground floor, wiring below carpeted wooden floor 1 plus easy access loft and easy parking). *Please provide an estimate (Labour Plus Materials) for a standard installation with NICEIC or similar insurance-backed warranty and also a second price for Labour only with warranty. Please can you also confirm which competent persons scheme you belong to and the warranty provided. * Wires to be concealed in the walls and not surface mounted and please provide a standard installation (consumer box, sockets, switches, lighting points, etc.) and then the costs of any recommended options. * Price is the priority, however the work should be carried out properly and safely and with everything fully compliant with BS 7671 18th Edition and Part P, and the EIC, NICEIC and Building Regulations paperwork provided after installation, as whilst on a very tight budget, we are not looking to compromise on safety or quality. * The electrical work is the beginning of a multitude of intended refurbishment projects here. I thank you for your time, and hope that your estimate is significantly below my other quotes so that we can proceed with yourself. Thank you
