Kitchen light switch ▸ Replace the existing kitchen light switch with a smart scene switch. ▸ Blank off the old switch position with a plain empty panel. ▸ Install the smart scene switch into the freed-up panel space. Bathroom pull cord ▸ Test the bypass on the bathroom pull cord. ▸ If the bypass works, keep the existing pull cord in place. ▸ If it does not work, replace it with a standard (non-smart) pull cord. Smart lock ▸ Install the smart lock at the entrance. ▸ Integrate the smart lock with the smart lock gateway. ▸ Confirm the lock reports correctly and is controllable through the gateway and Dashboard before leaving site. Sensors & scene switche Install the presence sensors in their designated locations. ▸ Install the additional scene switches as required. ▸ Verify each device pairs and reports before sign-off One socket has come away from the wall because the fixing screws were too short. ▸ Refit it using longer screws. ▸ The attending technician must speak to Avnesh, he knows the exact screw length required for the kitchen.
