Looking for an experienced electrician to remove the existing 4-spot ceiling track and install 2 pendant lights in separate positions. Ceiling height is approximately 3.4m and the existing track/surface cabling is shown in the photos. Scope: * Remove existing track and spotlights. * Install and connect 2 pendant lights (supplied by me), using the existing lighting circuit/switch where suitable. * Agree exact pendant positions and drops with me on site before drilling. * Provide standard electrical/fixing materials and test the completed installation. * Remove old fittings and leave tidy. I would like the cleanest possible cable routing, preferably concealed. If that isn’t practical, please propose a neat minimal surface-mounted solution, taking the existing cable route into account where possible. Please flag any making-good that will be needed after removing the track. Important: ceiling is approx. 3.4m, so please bring suitable access equipment.

I need one customer-supplied Eufy PTZ-Bullet PoE Cam S4 installed at my home in Southall, UB2. The camera needs to be securely mounted high on an exterior masonry wall and connected to my customer-supplied Eufy HomeBase Professional S1 downstairs. Work required: * Mount one Eufy S4 PoE camera securely on the exterior wall. * Supply and install approximately 30–40 metres of exterior-grade, UV-resistant, solid-copper Cat6 cable. Please do not use CCA cable. * Route and secure the cable neatly, as high and out of reach as reasonably possible. * Use exterior conduit or suitable protection where the cable is accessible from ground level. * Drill one cable-entry hole through the exterior wall into the downstairs room containing the HomeBase. * Weatherproof the wall entry properly, including suitable sealing and a drip loop. * Terminate and test the Ethernet connection for both data and PoE. * Connect the camera to the HomeBase S1 and confirm that live viewing and continuous recording are working. * Leave the installation tidy. No mains electrical work is required. Please provide a fixed total quote including labour, Cat6 cable, fixings, conduit where required, weatherproofing materials and all Airtasker fees. Please also mention your experience installing PoE CCTV systems and confirm that you have the necessary ladder and tools for working at height.

Hi, I have a few small electrical jobs that need doing at my home in E15, Stratford. Fix 3 small kitchen under-cupboard lights that are dim or not working properly. Investigate and fix a hallway light that isn't working. Disconnect an old doorbell. Fit a new battery-operated Ring doorbell and wedge (no wiring required). Replace 5 single light switch faceplates. Replace 2 double light switch faceplates. Replace 2 two-gang socket faceplates. Optional additional job: If you're also handy with general DIY, I need 2 hammock brackets securely fitted to an external brick garden wall. I'll supply all replacement faceplates, the Ring doorbell, wedge, brackets and fixings. I'm looking for someone experienced and suitably qualified to carry out the electrical work safely. I'd prefer a fixed price for the complete job rather than an hourly rate, so please provide your best all-inclusive quote for the work listed, including labour and any call-out charges. Ideally, I'd like everything completed in one visit. Please quote separately for the optional hammock bracket installation. Thanks!

We have an extractor fan in our downstairs toilet that we never use. The vent cover on the outside wall has no flaps, so when our neighbour has a fire the smoke comes straight through into the house. We’d like the hole sealed up properly so no air can get through — a blanking plate on the outside, and ideally the fan disconnected and a plate fitted on the inside too. The fan is on its own wall switch and currently works. If you can do both the electrical disconnect and the sealing, please quote for the lot. If you can only do the sealing, that’s fine — quote for the outside plate only and we’ll sort the fan separately. Ground floor, outside wall is easy to get to, no ladder needed. Please supply the plates and sealant.

Looking for a qualified/NICEIC-approved electrician to install additional spotlights throughout a new-build 4-bedroom house in Codicote, Hertfordshire. The existing lighting specifications have been provided by the developer, and I will purchase the matching spotlights myself. I’m looking for installation of: • Living room – 12 dimmable spotlights • Downstairs bathroom – 1 additional spotlight • Master bedroom – 16 spotlights, including 4 around the entrance area • Bedroom 2 – 9 spotlights • Bedroom 3 – 9 spotlights • Office – 6 spotlights • External – 2 additional downlights: one on the garage facing the driveway and one by the utility door facing the garden Total: 53 internal spotlights + 2 external downlights. I’m looking for the spotlights to be positioned approximately 1m apart where appropriate and aligned neatly with the existing layout. The house is a new build and most bedrooms are currently unfurnished, so access should be relatively straightforward. I have the exact specifications for the existing internal and external lights and will supply all light fittings. Please quote for labour, installation and any associated electrical installation materials required. The electrician must be appropriately qualified and able to complete/test the work safely. Ideally looking to have this completed ASAP

Not immediate work - likely to be around 20 Oct onwards I need one socket added inside my under-sink cupboard to power a small water filter (the pump is about 24W). The dishwasher is wired in right next to it, so I'm hoping it's a short run from there. I'm happy for you to decide the best source once you've seen it, as long as the circuit can take the extra load. Flat is new build - around 7 years old. What I'm after: 1. One splash-rated (IP-rated) socket or fused spur 2. Cable routed neatly so nothing's visible with the doors shut 3. A quote that includes materials and any call-out charge What I need: 4. You are registered with NICEIC, NAPIT or an equivalent scheme 5. A Minor Works or Installation Certificate once it's done 6. Check the circuit and RCD protection first

I've removed a non-load-bearing metal stud partition. I need the existing double socket relocated onto the adjacent permanent wall behind plaster board and the redundant 230V electric-heating controller/cabling safely disconnected. The wall is completely open so all cables are currently accessible. Could you quote for the electrical work and testing only? I'll make good/decorate myself
