Two jobs in the same house. Ideally one qualified electrician does both, or an electrician working with a handyman. Photos attached. I will supply both appliances. Job 1 – Storage heater replacement (hallway, by the stairs) • Disconnect and remove the old Dimplex storage heater from the wall. No disposal needed: please just leave it on site. Note that it contains heavy storage bricks. • Repair the wall where the heater was (fill holes, make good) and repaint that section. The wall is dark grey; I can supply the paint. • Install a Dimplex PLXC300E 3kW panel heater (supplied). • Please confirm the existing supply is suitable for a 3kW heater running at any time of day, not off-peak only. Job 2 – Electric fireplace (living room) • Disconnect the existing freestanding electric fire and move it aside. No disposal or repair needed. • Wall-mount the new electric fire. • The cable must be hidden. My preference is to chase it into the wall and fit a socket or fused spur directly behind the fire, so nothing shows.

Looking for an experienced electrician to remove the existing 4-spot ceiling track and install 2 pendant lights in separate positions. Ceiling height is approximately 3.4m and the existing track/surface cabling is shown in the photos. Scope: * Remove existing track and spotlights. * Install and connect 2 pendant lights (supplied by me), using the existing lighting circuit/switch where suitable. * Agree exact pendant positions and drops with me on site before drilling. * Provide standard electrical/fixing materials and test the completed installation. * Remove old fittings and leave tidy. I would like the cleanest possible cable routing, preferably concealed. If that isn’t practical, please propose a neat minimal surface-mounted solution, taking the existing cable route into account where possible. Please flag any making-good that will be needed after removing the track. Important: ceiling is approx. 3.4m, so please bring suitable access equipment.

We need an experienced Lutron specialist to inspect and repair a faulty Lutron LQSE-4AD lighting module in our flat.
The module reportedly suffered burn damage after a tenant attempted to replace a light bulb while the power was on. An electrician has temporarily bypassed the Lutron module, so the lights currently work, but smart lighting control needs to be restored.
Our preference is to repair the existing module if possible. Please diagnose the fault and confirm whether it can be repaired safely.
If replacement is necessary, we need someone who can: * Supply and install a compatible replacement module. * Remove the temporary bypass and reconnect the lighting circuits to the Lutron system. * Complete any programming and commissioning required to restore normal smart lighting operation. * Test the system and confirm everything works correctly.
Please share your experience with Lutron systems, your earliest availability, and your diagnostic visit fee.
