We’re looking for an experienced, reliable tradesperson who may be able to fit in a small renovation/decorating job between other work. Scope: * Measure 4 rooms and a loft space for architraves * fit architraves once ordered (happy for materials to be included in your quote or supplied separately) * Repair a small area of ceiling and wall following a previous leak (cut out damaged section, replaster and make good) * Paint 3 rooms including walls and ceilings Paint will be supplied. The property is easy to access and the work areas are already clear. We are flexible on timing and can work around your schedule. Ideally completion by September, but earlier or later is fine depending on availability. We are looking for a fixed-price quote for the full job. This would suit someone looking to fill gaps in their schedule rather than a large ongoing project. Please include your availability, timeframe, and examples of similar work if available.

Need to plaster ceiling . The area is 1 metre square

We require our basement ceiling to have the joists evened out, plasterboarded and plastered. The room dimensions at their widest point are 6.08m x 4m. The scope of work is to include: - sistering/tapering joists to the level of the lowest joist (we do not want battening because we cannot lose ceiling height) - plaster boarding the ceiling with 12.5mm plasterboards - plastering the ceiling to a quality of finish that is paintable - patching up the walls where they join the ceiling to create an even plastered finish, also to a quality of finish that is paintable The joists are very old, hence they are uneven and require the sistering/tapering prior to being boarded to create a flat surface. So my exhaust needs re-fitting a new one however there’s some plastering that needs to be redone around the ceiling as it was a larger exhaust before and now I’m fitting a smaller one and so that needs doing along with a little paint job so the exhaust I already have, I just need it fitted in by an electrician and with a bit of plastering and painting done

Wood frame of window is cracked and needs repair

I have taken the wallpaper off a bedroom and require someone to prepare and skim plaster the walls (ceiling not required) and prep to a point they are ready for painting. Room dimensions: 2.6m x 2.8m approx. Room has chimney breast with two alcoves, a window and a door, skirting board and currently a radiator. Skirting board and door/window frames not to be taken off and I will remove radiator if required. I have filler, skim-plaster, rollers and basic tools. I’d prefer to use those materials that I have.

Have a large hole by the wall and skirting. Probably needs plasterboard patch.

Single wall sized 3.3x2.4m needs fitting with insulation backed plasterboard but no skim coat. Will remove old woodchip wallpaper prior to this

Existing 30 year old fireplace marble? Surround with hearth and mantlepiece. To be removed, hole filled however is needed, and boarded up to look like the existing wall. Plastered but not painted ideally. No idea how much this will cost, so please let me know.
