Looking for someone experienced to repair a damaged laminate floor. I already have extra spare laminate planks available for the job. The work will involve removing and replacing the damaged section and ensuring it blends in properly with the existing flooring.

7m2 of laminate flooring and underlay to be laid in a hallway.

The room is approximately 13.5m² mostly square with a couple of alcoves either side of wide chimney breast. 1 doorway 1 radiator, 1 edge meeting tiled kitchen floor. Would appreciate advice on what type of underlay to get and whether herringbone is suitable for that floor. As well as fitting underlay and laminate. Room will be emptied and carpet removed before installation begins.
