We have 2 bedrooms with carpet and have underfloor heating. We would like to change the carpet to Amtico flooring like the rest of the house.

Labour only, price negotiable. Sand and repair living room floor boards. Previously covered with carpet, boards are original from 1950’s. There is also a tiled area (which are not asbestos- had them tested), these will need to be cleaned up too. Boards are in mostly good condition just have paint and marks on them, some areas are chipped. 4.30m x 4.20m

*****No Budget in mind yet***** The entry hall in a Victorian terrace needs new floorboards. The existing shall need to be lifted and new T&G ones installed. Hallway measures 4m long and 1m wide. The new floorboards shall be from Travis Perkins. There’s also a need to seek the gaps with filler and install new skirting board. The seal shall need to be perfect so that smells don’t come from the sub floor under the floor boards.

I need a handyman to help me to lift and put back floorboards, so I can clean and treat underneath. Would also be helpful if floor could be sanded and gaps filled . 3x3 m room

Skirting board is going to be installed. Spray foam or similar item needs to be used between floorboards and skirting This task is part of 3 tasks: replacing skirting piece, cutting an existing installed piece to make it shorter, and applying foam or sealant between floorboards and skirting

I need a handyman to come and remove a tile skirting board from beneath a shower and replace it with a wooden skirting board that can be screwed on and off and then also trim the end of a skirting board in the kitchen. This is so both skirting boards allow easy access to the cavity behind them as I had a previous rat infestation (that a treatment has been sucessfully completed for), so that builders can come and pest proof my flat.

Should be an easy task - the plumber needs to access the manhole and didn’t want to remove the decking boards. Boards are plastic / composite and have the torx decking screw head which need to be removed in sequence. Once removed, leave it for a few days while the plumber addresses the issue in the manhole and then return to replace the boards. Original floorboards need filling the gaps, sanding - potentially also staining but tbc. There is one board that is broken so needs to be replaced Bedroom, Living room and hall. Approx 30m2

We need the floorboards fixed and the carpet to be refitted in a small section of the hallway and the bedroom. Essentially, there was a leak in one of the pipes under the floorboards which is why we had to remove the carpet in that area and the floorboard to access the pipe. There are 3 spots where this needs to be fixed.

There is a section in the through lounge where the floorboards keep squeaky and a small section in the hallway where the floorboard looks as if it needs to be screwed down.

We have a chopping board that was made by a friend and due to not being treated or oiled, food has started to seep in. We need someone with experience making chopping boards to sand it down a bit and treat it so we can continue using it without more food juices seeping into the wood.
