I’m looking for an experienced flooring/joinery professional to repair a section of subfloor in a bedroom. The floor was previously repaired, but the contractor used a large board/sheet rather than replacing the original floorboards/planks. The repair is now uneven and the board has started to lift, so the floor is not suitable for carpet to be fitted over it. Job required: * Remove the existing board and inspect the area underneath. * Replace it with suitable floorboards/planks, matching the existing floor where possible. * Ensure the boards are securely fixed and supported. * Make the repaired area completely level and stable. * Leave the floor ready for underlay and carpet installation.
