I’m looking for an experienced flooring/joinery professional to repair a section of subfloor in a bedroom. The floor was previously repaired, but the contractor used a large board/sheet rather than replacing the original floorboards/planks. The repair is now uneven and the board has started to lift, so the floor is not suitable for carpet to be fitted over it. Job required: * Remove the existing board and inspect the area underneath. * Replace it with suitable floorboards/planks, matching the existing floor where possible. * Ensure the boards are securely fixed and supported. * Make the repaired area completely level and stable. * Leave the floor ready for underlay and carpet installation. My floor boards are squeaky, I need them to be secured. My floor is carpeted so the carpet needs to be lifted and the floor boards need to be nailed down. There are two to three specific small areas that need to be done.

We are having all of our existing carpet lifted next Monday 03rd August. After that, we request works to the flooring below to take out noticeable creaks and movement.

I need all the floorboards lifting in 3 rooms on the ground floor including the nails from the joists. The floorboards aren't going back down so they don't have to be taken out gently and ok to damage. They can be moved to the back garden. Living room - 3.7 x 3.7 metres Hallway - 1.8 x 4.0 metres Kitchen - 6.3 x 4.2 metres (half of this room already done) Tasker will require to bring a multi tool for removing the boards on the edges of the hallway and living room front bay to prevent damage to the skirting boards. There are no carpets or floor covers - the floorboards are already exposed.
