Hi, I need help moving a king size headboard that doesn’t fit up my narrow attic staircase. The back panel is thin wood and can be removed. The headboard may need a simple cut from the back, then to be carried upstairs and securely reassembled. The front must remain neat and undamaged. A simple finish at the back is fine. I need help with two assembly jobs at my flat in Chesham (HP5 1IB), to be completed in one visit this Thursday. Job 1: Full assembly of IKEA PAX / KAMMARTORP / GULLABERG wardrobe (200x60x201 cm). Item is new in boxes and requires unpacking and full build. The mirror doors are heavy, so this may require 2 people. Please bring your own tools. Job 2: Finish assembling a bed frame. Treat a 5m x 3m decked area, the steps, balustrades & handrails with a wax oil treatment which will be supplied. 2 coats are required on the decking & steps. Brushes and tools supplied. This task can only be carried out when the weather is good and dry and the wood has not been wet. Therefore timing is largely dictated by the weather.

Task: Replace 2 Ceiling Light Fixtures & Hang Lampshades I’d like to update the light fittings in two rooms: • Bedroom: Remove current pendant with multiple hanging cables and install a single cable fitting suitable for a standard lampshade (single bulb). Then hang the new lampshade. • Living/Dining Room: Remove existing chandelier-style pendant and replace with a simple fitting for the same type of bulb as the bedroom. Then hang the new lampshade. Please ensure both lights are safely installed, wiring checked, and compatible with standard lampshades. Task 2: The switch appears to be broken and isn’t working properly. After removing the cover, it looks like something may be wrong with the wiring/cables behind the switch. Because of this, I don’t think it’s safe to use, and it likely needs to be checked and repaired by a professional.

I need someone to block the holes on the floor area under the stairs shown in the photo. The holes need to be covered neatly and the plywood should not be higher than the existing floor I outside of the area or the concrete inside the area. This is just prep work for understairs storage that will be fitted in a few weeks.
