Find a local console repairer in Tyne And Wear

We are moving out of a rented family home and need an experienced handyman to help with end-of-tenancy preparation. We would like someone to inspect the property with us and carry out minor repairs/touch-ups where needed, including small wall repairs, filling holes/scuffs, paint touch-ups, minor carpentry/joinery, adjusting doors/cupboards/handles/rails, and general fixes to help return the property to good condition before checkout. This is not a full refurbishment. We need someone practical and honest who can advise what is worth fixing and complete the agreed works to a good standard. Please confirm availability and hourly/day rate.

Our Sony TV keeps turning off and the light at the bottom keeps flashing red, we’ve checked with Sky and they said the Sky is working fine. We’ve done the factory restart and nothing helped.

We have just moved into the area last week, and everything for our bed is already upstairs except for the headboard. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be carried up the stairs due to its size and the bend in the staircase. There is a window-style door in the room through which the headboard could be brought in easily. I am looking for someone who can lift it up safely (using a pulley or crane) and place it inside the room. If possible, I would also appreciate help with assembling the bed once the headboard is in place. Additionally, there is a small fixed frame in front of the window that is secured by four bolts. I believe this can be removed temporarily to allow access and then refitted afterward. Could you please let me know if you can help with this and provide an estimated cost? Thank you,
