The job involves: - Supplying and fitting a new surface-mounted back box - Reusing/reterminating the existing network cable and RJ45 module where appropriate - Relocating the socket higher up the wall, clear of the fridge - Testing the connection after completion - Leaving the installation neat, secure and professionally finished (existing trunking can be left in place with the cover on, just make a new exit point higher up the trunking for the new backbox position) Providing clear photos of the RJ45 module termination and the completed installation Please only respond if you have experience with structured network cabling and RJ45 termination.

Looking for an experienced data technician or electrician to install a point-to-point network extension in the reception area of a dental practice. The job involves running a new Ethernet line around the perimeter of the room to bridge internet from one side to the other. Scope of Work: - Remove Old Trunking: Take down a section of existing surface trunking along part of the path (houses an existing cable). - Install New Trunking: Supply and install approximately 16 metres of new, clean white PVC surface-mounted trunking along the walls. New trunking MT2 26×16mm to house both the existing cable and the new network cable. All trunking corners must be mitre-cut (cut diagonally at 45-degree angles) - Run Cable: Supply and route white Cat6 network cable through the new trunking. No drilling is required. - Install Sockets: Supply, mount, and terminate two white single RJ45 wall sockets (one on each end of the run) along with white surface mounted box so internet can be plugged in on one side and received on the other. - Test: Verify the connection works and then put trunking lids on. • Please bring all necessary material (in white) as well as tools (trunking cutters, punch-down tool, cable tester). • Please leave workspace clean and tidy.

I have a ubiquiti home network installed and starting to get a lot of Ip conflicts etc. I probably need someone that is trained on unifi to check my settings etc.

Our hyperoptic WiFi is no longer working. Our eero devices may need reconnecting as our system seems to not be linked. Our TV seems to be blocked from accessing our network so we currently can’t use it. We’d love for this not only to be fixed but for it to be clearly explained to us and set up on an app on our phone etc. So that we are able to troubleshoot this ourselves in the future.
