The original skin (similar to canvas, but a more durable) got perished and tore, there may be other damage to the arms etc, but i'm not sure. this was originally installed by franklyn blinds and had a 5 year warranty. The replacement skin must be of similar or better quality. I have secured this onto the fence, to prevent it from swaying around.
