We have a built in bedroom wardrobe which is 1550 Long on the inside and 500 wide. Would like two shelves supplied and installed in the robe along with a couple of dividers Also Need to be sturdy able to hold heavy photo albums.

Remove old built in wardrobe

I have a built in wardrobe with melamine (I think) panels. Need them painted to match the walls (a warm white I guess?) the Panels are currently magnolia ish colour. It's probably around 5m2 of surface area. It's two exterior sides and the top. The wardrobe is probably around 3m tall and it's sides around 1m.

There is an existing melamine shelf with hang rail beneath that needs to be removed and moved higher to make way for cabinet installation. Already has top and side tracks. Specs: Gap width = 2460. Floor to top track inside = 2470. Top track lip height 40mm, width = 80mm, so max door height = 2430mm less bottom track lip.

The room length from the doorway to the back wall is approximately 3.87m, and the floor-to-ceiling height is approximately 2.59m. Ideally, I am looking for a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, approximately 3m to 3.5m wide, with a standard depth of around 660mm. I am interested in mirrored sliding doors and a finish that will suit darker oak-look floorboards. I’m looking for approximate pricing at this stage, with a site inspection to confirm measurements and layout. The room can be inspected any time from Thursday 9 July 2026 onwards. I need some built in wardrobes made up. Length is 3.5m height is 2.45m depth is 600 I want them to have a basic set out similar to what’s posted in the pictures for the internal so I can maximise storage. Maybe three tiers of drawers and then at 2m a hanging rail and then above that a shelf for boxes? I’m open to suggestions. For the doors I want the ‘Sussex’ polytechnic profile in wild clay. I also have more cabinet needs but will want to see how this turns out first.

Hello airtaskers! I have two built in wardrobes that I’m getting re-done. The wardrobes have been removed but the timber frames remain. I need them removed, trying to not damage the plasterboard too much. There are nails in the space and the floor, I need them removed. The spaces patched and painted and the floors sanded (I will stain and varnish). This is for two wardrobes. I will upload photos tonight.
