Remove built in wardrobes with assistance from my husband and transport them to storage nearby 3km away, van or truck/ute supplied by tasker. Wardrobes do not need to be disassembled, just removed. Uninstall is in Paddington and storage unit in Bondi. Wardrobes do not need to be re-installed. Job needs to be done Monday morning 7:30am on May 5th. I have a built in bedroom wardrobe that had a chipboard top shelf with a clothes rail attached beneath it. The top shelf has been bending for a while and half the clothes rail snapped off today. The length of the top shelf is 3 metres long and 620 cm wide. The task is to remove the existing shelf/ rail and install a new shelf/ rail. The walls of the wardrobe/ building are concrete. It looks like existing shelf was a board supported by wood siding nailed into building. I am open to suggestions on best method and materials but want the shelf attached to the wall in some form (seems like cleats are generally advised online) and not within an additional "flatpack" wardrobe unit.

Hi all, I’m looking for a reliable person who can pop in on Thursday afternoon and create a platform for an Ikea wardrobe to sit on. Ultimately I’m hoping to turn this into a built in and am looking to raise it off the ground. It will be a wall mounted job from IKEA who are coming on Friday morning. I’ll also need to add some MDF boards to the brick wall it will be fixed to in order to help create that built in look. No painting required, just create the platform, affix the MDF boards and then finish the top framing and add more MDF post installation. Pics are of the space (between sliding door and fixed door), a very crude drawing of the overall structure, the wardrobe and an example photo of what I’m after.

I currently have a built in wardrobe. The interior needs to be removed ( it is currently bookshelves, a desk and drawers).
