Existing wooden balustrade on granny flat verandah needs replacing. Approx. 10 linear metres of balustrade, including a three-step rise. Existing wooden decking needs to also be rescrewed into existing batons. Painting not required.

Cut the ends of cables (2 ends of 10 cables = 20 total cuts), replace end screws with more robust anchoring to allow for appropriate tension, such as Jaw/Swage Turnbuckle Rigging Screws with end Terminals and stainless steel eye screws. Wire is 3.2mm 7x7. Timber posts. You can see in the attached photo that two of the end screws have come out, so we've decided it makes sense to replace all the ends of the horizontal cables, as well as the ones next to the staircase.

Hi, I have a 9x5 meter covered deck which needs oiling. The main areas of attention are the balustrades and the stairs as well as the roof posts. Once that is done then I would like to proceed to doing the main deck and I would also like to avoid sanding as much as possible just to do only very very light sands and to coat with Sikkens 2-3 coats which I can supply or if you have a trade license you can get it through your account whichever way you prefer. Looking for someone 'with experience' in tightening wire balustrades on decks. Some of the wires on the deck have loosened over time and need tightening.

Steel balustrade wire is loose and I cannot tighten it as I don’t have the right tools to do the job. Swaged stud fitting spinning in post without tightening/catching

New balustrade (see blue line on the photo, construction details tbc) 5..And about 4 timber treads to be replaced. (Metal stringers are ok condition) 6. We need someone to build and install a commercial set of stairs - balustrades - handrails. Thinking white MDF stringers and risers, and maybe Hardwood treads...open to discuss We can provide materials if required. Must be built to code and must have all forms signed etc... Replace bottom rail of both balustrades and install new slats ton half of each balustrade (may be able to get away with less). Painting will be done by others. Materials to be supplied and installed by Airtasker, including removal of removed materials.
