Need new glass balustrade The deck is approx 1.5 over ground level. Is pool height fence still required?

Looking for an experienced carpenter, deck builder or balustrade installer to install a 316 stainless steel wire balustrade system on my front deck in Eagleby, QLD. Materials supplied by me (Chaindirect - Balustrade Basic Kit (No.6) – Turnbuckles (33), Wire (150m), Fittings, Tools Kit): 316 stainless steel wire balustrade DIY kit 3.2 mm 1×19 marine grade 316 stainless wire Turnbuckles, end terminals, saddles and all fittings Hydraulic swaging tool and cable cutters Work required: Remove and dispose of the existing timber balustrade infill only (existing timber posts and top rails to remain). Install stainless steel wire terminals and cables. Tension all wires evenly. Ensure the installation is straight, secure and professionally finished. Clean up and remove all waste upon completion. Project details: Approximately 7 railing sections 8 horizontal wires per section (56 wire runs total) Total railing length approximately 12 metres Existing timber posts and handrails remain Stainless steel wire system only (no glass) Requirements: Experience installing stainless steel wire balustrades. Own tools (other than the supplied swaging tool and cable cutters). Please provide photos of previous similar work. Installation must comply with Australian residential balustrade requirements. Replace rotten lower hardwood balustrade rail only x2. Existing post is sound. Reuse existing balusters if possible. Supply matching hardwood, install, prime all cut ends. Painting not required. Price negotiable

We have just raised the height of a balustrade beside a set of external stairs through on-site steel welding. The task now is wire brush the welds to remove any rust and scale, prime all new weld joints and then to paint the balustrade black (monument). This only applies to the new, raised section of the balustrade. The photos show the that balastrad looking down and then looking up as well as a typical welded joint that need to be prepared. The photos also show the lower balustrade already painted black and needing no further work and the new upper work which has been primed grey. There is also some new infill bars in the old section shown in the photo looking up the stairs that need to be painted.

The bottom section of veranda post has rotted as well. Veranda post is 95 x 95mm. Also a section of balustrade needs replacing consisting of a section of horizontal and vertical dowels.

Timber base board and uprights have rotted. Need a qualified handyman to be able to remove the base boards (two of them) and then replace all of the uprights including the three long ones in the middle, finally replacing the base boards with new timber Price negotiable and suitable timber will be supplied with your guidance.

We have numerous jobs and need to start somewhere. No big rush as we want good work and suitable times.

Replace existing steel balustrade with wire

The timber top rail (capping) on my upstairs balcony balustrade has split along the grain and there’s rot at the joints and around where the metal handrail posts are bolted down. There’s rust staining at a couple of the fixings, so water has been getting in for a while. The vertical timber panel directly below the cracked section also feels soft, so the rot has likely tracked down into the cladding as well. The metal handrail itself is fine - it’s the timber that needs attention. What I need done: ∙ Replace the damaged capping timber and any rotted section of the vertical panel below it (extent to be confirmed on site once it’s opened up) ∙ Re-secure the metal handrail posts so the balustrade is solid and safe again ∙ Seal the post bases and joints so water doesn’t get back in

Looking to get a couple of steps repaired or replaced that have some rotten wood (as per images). Also need 2-3 balustrades replaced that have some rotten wood at the bottom (will need to be bogged, sanded and tidied up (I can paint if needs be). Also want to get 2x decorative pieces replaced at the bottom of two posts as per the photos.

Materials purchased by us upfront — you will not be out of pocket at any point. What you need to do: - Collect ProtectorAl aluminium fencing components from Bunnings (we will purchase and arrange) - Install on site: 2800mm straight run + 1000mm return at 90°, mounted to top of masonry wall (approx measurements). - 4 flanged posts dynabolted to masonry, 3 panel sections (2 panels cut to size between pickets) Tools required: hammer drill + 10mm masonry bit, angle grinder or hacksaw for cutting aluminium, level, basic hand tools. Materials: Purchased by us upfront Please check the photos before quoting.

Experienced carpenter required to repair two balustrade/handrails that have rotted on our front outdoor stairs. Materials and labour must be included. Quality hardwood must be used.

We are moving house and need someone to please instal some wire for the Balustrade/Deck. We have the wire. All holes are already in the timber, all measure ready to go :) This is quite urgent so would love someone in the next week or so to complete this.

Need these steps and balustrade painted and grip tape strip added to edge of each step after. Balustrade has been sanded but the steps will need a light sand, paint and grip tape supplied

I am after a painter to paint balustrade Timbers before I cut and install them. And also paint already installed balustrade, I have already got a coat on the installed Timbers. $45/hr cash 8 hr day

Remove this decorative balustrade and bricks. We have a council waste voucher for this.

Supply and install 3 x wire balustrades.

Repair or replace either or both of the two timber units, post and or that part of the balustrade - not sure if and what can be fixed or needs replacing altogether. Scott of work is provide advise. Time, effort and tools required for job. Anything need replacing I will reimburse separately. Cheers

I am in need of someone to come and install glass that we have on the front porch of our house. There are 4x spaces: 1 - 2715mm wide 2 - 1640 wide 3 - 1765 wide (this needs to have a gate in it) 4 - 1870 wide We have glass already and spigots to fit.
