Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced in porcelain / ceramic repair, toilet bowl surface repair or resurfacing to assess and repair a small damaged/stained area inside a toilet bowl in Docklands VIC 3008. There is a small localised yellow-brown/dark brown mark at the bottom of the toilet bowl. It visually looks like dirt/waste, but it is not waste and does not flush or wash off. it appears that the area may be: * rust or mineral staining; * staining embedded in damaged porcelain glaze; or * localised wear/damage to the glazed surface. The toilet itself is otherwise fully functional. I am therefore specifically looking for someone who has experience repairing or resurfacing porcelain in this location, if it can be done reliably. I would prefer to repair the existing toilet rather than replace the complete toilet, as replacement would be considerably more expensive. Hi, I have a splash-back and a fireplace insert that I need tiling work done on. The splash-back area is approx. 262(w) x 60(h)cm (pics attached). I’d like the tiles laid in chequered formation and the left/right edges of the window sill to have a mitred edge. I have the tiles ready to go but will need everything else supplied. For the fireplace I’d like a dark green or black grout (or potentially no grout) to visually disappear amongst the green tiles. I’d also like a black steel edge trim around the inner opening. Hello: I recently had new floor tiles installed in a small bathroom. Around the shower floor drain the tiles had to be hand cut to fit the waste. The finish around the drain and along a few grout lines is a bit rough/uneven (see photos). The installer advised that this was unavoidable due to the cuts required around the drain. Before accepting that, I’m hoping to get a second opinion and see whether the finish can be improved — for example through tidying the grout lines, re-grouting, or another solution. Ideally I’d like someone with tiling experience who can: • Assess whether the finish can be improved • Tidy up the grout lines around the drain if possible • Suggest any practical improvements The bathroom is otherwise fully finished, so I’m hoping for a targeted cosmetic improvement rather than major re-tiling.
