The flexible reflective shaft/tubing for a tubular skylight has disconnected at the roof end and fallen down into the roof cavity. I need a handyperson or roof worker to access the roof space and re-attach and properly secure the ducting to the roof frame/dome collar. What needs to be done: Access the roof space to reach the skylight collar. Pull up and reconnect the flexible aluminium light shaft to the roof fitting. Secure the ducting firmly using suitable foil tape, hose clamps, or mechanical fasteners to prevent it from slipping down again. Inspect the ceiling end connection to make sure it is fully supported and sitting flush.
