Hi there I’m looking for someone to complete the following roof restoration work on a double garage, two level brick home on the Central Coast NSW. The back first level eaves have a row of solar panels on them, so if you’re able to remove them please include that in your quote. If they can’t be removed, the price will need to reflect that you’ll be working around them which means less surface area to clean and paint. Roof is reasonably tidy condition with a few tiles needed to be fixed. Scope of work: • Grind all old pointing • Repoint all ridge caps • Repoint gables • Drill weep holes • Replace any broken tiles • Reseal lead flashing where needed • Reseal stink pipes, whirlybird and TV antenna if applicable • Full roof wash using a pressure washer • Clean all gutters with pressure washer • Flush all downpipes with pressure washer • Wash solar panels • Wash external walls after roof wash • Clean any overspray or mess that lands on neighbours property • Three coats of paint • One coat of surfacer (Dulux) • Two coats of Dulux paint (colour to be chosen) The job is on the Central Coast NSW. With heavy rain water comes in under the back door forming puddles. Not sure if gutters are full and overflowing, or gutters not coping with quantity of rain. Please attend to investigate, clean out gutters and down pipes. Is there weather strip at bottom of back door to prevent water seepage? If not please fit one. Photos attached.
