I have a roof leak following a series of storms that caused roof damage. I have put a claim to insurance and they want a report describing the damage caused by storms. It is a single story house with a tiled roof and I want to replace it with colorbond roof. Looking for a licensed roofer or roof plumber to inspect and repair a roof leak around a fireplace flue penetration. Location: Koolewong NSW (Central Coast) Issue observed: During very heavy rain, water appears to enter around the chimney / flue where it passes through the metal roof. I have inspected the roof cavity and noticed: • Insulation near the chimney becomes damp after heavy rain • The insulation is not heavily soaked, suggesting a small leak likely around flashing or seal • Water appears to run down the flue pipe and drip onto the wood heater below Photos of the roof cavity, flue penetration, and heater area are attached. Likely cause (based on inspection): Possible failed flashing / dektite seal around the flue penetration. Need to clean the Roof gutters

Remove Colourbond Roof sheets to locate and remove dead possum in roof. Internal ceiling is an A frame ceiling with exposed truss. The only way to remove the dead possum will be to externally remove the colourbond roof sheets.

Roof Plumber Required to repair leaking gutters and clean gutters. - 2 storey house - corrugated roof - guttering at that level requires cleaning and repair - plus 2 car garage gutters need cleaning A few sections along the gutter are leaking. These need to be repaired and tested to ensure leaks are resolved. There is an overhead louvre on the second level that leaks at the corners onto the balcony. Access to this is via 2 story corrugated roof unless you can remove the louvre blades and reinstall without damage. I think this is also a guttering issue but I don’t know because I can’t see that area from the balcony. I am looking for someone who is able to repair guttering leaks as well as the cleaning. I will not consider cleaning only. The person will need own equipment and supplies. They are required to clean 2nd storey gutters and will need to climb 2nd storey corrugated roof to access louvre repairs. Experienced person required.
