We had a few holes cut in the plasterboard to investigate a water leak we were having (3 cut outs about 1.5sqm in total). We just need someone to please patch it up properly please. We also had a small smoke alarm removed. Just need the holes in the room patched up. Please note the ceiling is about 3.5m high. I am happy to paint it but if you're able to do that too, that would be an added bonus (please let me know how much extra). We don't know the colour so need to colour match. Otherwise I can do at a later time. We don't have the paint yet but I can run to Bunnings with a sample of existing wall to get some.

There is a small hole in my ceiling in my apartment. At times a little bit of water leaks from it when raining but then other times no water leaks. Now it's raining but no water is leaking. Would you simply cut out that section and plaster/paint that section if interested?

Seeking assistance to patch 2 plaster holes and undercoat ready for painting. First is approx. 25cm x 25cm and second is a strip approx. 25cm long but quite narrow adjacent to shower. I need a hole filled out in my plaster wall professionally and almost colour match the wall if possible.

The task includes two parts: (1) re-plaster and re-paint a small area on a wall, so that it provides a solid foundation for a baby gate part to be mounted onto that area; and (2) re-mount that baby gate part onto the wall, so that the swing gate can be opened and secured smoothly. The photos show the baby gate and the current problem. The problem concerns a baby gate part, which is mounted onto the plaster wall but is getting wobbly and causing cracks in the plaster wall. We suspect this is due to the weak foundation in the plaster wall that does not provide enough support for the baby gate part, but your expert advice may differ. Matching paint will be provided. The baby gate is BabyDan FlexiFit Safety Gate Metal, 105.5 cm/41.54", White. You can google the product first in order to consider whether you can re-mount the baby gate part. Do not enquire if you cannot complete both parts of this task.
