Title: Paint bathroom walls and ceiling (including wallpaper border removal) I'm looking for an experienced painter to paint my bathroom in Perth. The bathroom is approximately 4 m × 3 m, however a large portion of the walls are tiled, so the actual painted wall area is much smaller. One wall is approximately ¾ tiled, another has a large window, and another has a vanity and doorway. Scope of work: - Remove existing wallpaper border. - Prepare surfaces (fill, sand and prime where required after wallpaper removal). - Paint the bathroom ceiling. - Paint all walls above the existing tiles. - Apply two coats of quality mould-resistant bathroom paint. - Cut in neatly around existing tiles, window and fittings. - Protect the bath, vanity, tiles and flooring while working. - Clean up thoroughly on completion. The current walls are dark red, and I want to change this to a clean, light neutral bathroom colour (open to suggestions like a crisp white or light grey). Room Dimensions: 3.2m long x 2.0m wide x 2.7m high. Note that a large portion of the wall space is taken up by a large mirror, window, shower screen, and wall tiles, so the actual paintable wall surface area is relatively small. Scope of Work: Prep & Clean up: Carefully scrape away the existing red paint that has bled onto the wall tiles and grout lines (see image). Prime: Apply a high-quality stain-blocking/high-hide primer to block out the dark red base. Wall Painting: Apply 2 coats of premium, mould-resistant kitchen/bathroom paint to the walls. Cornice/Ceiling Touch-up: Fix the terrible cutting-in on the cornices (see image) by repainting them back to a clean, sharp ceiling white line. Supply all paint and tools and drop sheets etc. Timing: Weekends anytime or weekdays after 3:30pm.
