looking for a mechanic or someone who knows a bit about cars to come and inspect my 2004 Toyota hiace (petrol) I’m not looking to have any repairs done at this stage, I just mainly need someone to inspect the van and identify what is wrong and tell me what needs repairing. What happened recently: • Noticed a smoky and maple like smell while driving • Started making a rattling noise when accelerating • van got overheated and starting smoking/ broke down • Concerned there may be a coolant leak. • Van is currently not being driven and parked at home. Hi, I’m looking for a quote to install a new head unit setup in my 2007 Holden Commodore VE Series 1 SV6. I already have all the required parts: * Pioneer head unit/screen * VE fascia kit * Wiring harness/interface * Single-zone HVAC/climate control replacement kit * Associated cables/adaptors supplied with the kit The original factory head unit has failed, including the integrated HVAC controls, so I need the old unit removed and the new system installed. I’d like the quote to include: * Removal of the original head unit/HVAC controls * Installation of the new fascia and Pioneer unit * Installation and wiring of the new HVAC controls * Connection/programming of the required vehicle interface/harnesses * Testing of the radio, Bluetooth/CarPlay, speakers and steering-wheel controls if supported * Testing that the new HVAC controls operate correctly * Reassembly and tidy-up I already have the parts, so I’m just after the labour/installation cost.
