What does a mechanic service usually include?

Minor service
This is the most basic engine service a mechanic provides, but it can make a huge difference in whether or not your car can operate efficiently. While topping up engine oil , I added more oil than required. As shown in picture. So it's well above the maximum mark. Although I don't see any immediate problem, I would like to remove excess oil and just keep to the mark. I don't require change of Engine oil or any other services...just extract excess oil.
