Install 7kw EV Charger Simple EV Wall charger installation (1 metre from fuse box). Tesla Gen 3 Wall Connector already purchased (new). Double-brick penetration/access already available (see pic) and I can undertake any non-electrical drilling/masonry work required. Attached is the picture of my fusebox, second photo is directly behind (garage) where power has already been run to an existing airconditioning unit so wall already penetrated. Mounting position for the ev charger is a metre or so away from this point. Licensed electrician only. Price to include required circuit protection, cabling, connection, testing, commissioning and Certificate of Electrical Safety. Charger supplied by me - MG 7kW Charge Hub Pro - 7kW single-phase - Type 2 - 5m cable Existing setup - Existing residential switchboard as shown in attached photo - Property has solar installed - Existing main switch appears to be around 40A, but this must be verified onsite Scope of work - Inspect the existing switchboard and confirm whether it is suitable for a dedicated 7kW EV charger circuit - Confirm available supply capacity and phase loading - Supply and install a dedicated 32A circuit for the charger - Supply and install all required cable, conduit, breaker/RCBO, isolation and protection devices - Carry out any minor switchboard modifications reasonably required to make the installation compliant - Mount and connect the MG Charge Hub Pro - Test and commission the charger - Provide all required WA electrical compliance/certification documentation Important Please base your offer on a complete, compliant installation, including labour and standard materials. I’ve attached photos showing: * Existing switchboard * The brick wall where I would like the Tesla Wall Connector installed. LICENSED ELECTRICIAN REQUIRED - Vic A-grade licence + REC number (to issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety). Install only - Tesla Gen 3 Wall Connector (single phase, 7.3m cable) supplied by me. You supply materials + labour. THE JOB Double-storey, Wollert. Single phase, main switch believed 50A, rooftop solar. Switchboard is on the LEFT of the house from the street, garage on the RIGHT - so it's an up-and-over run through the roof space, approx 30-35m. Route: up the switchboard side in conduit, into the roof space (dektite), across the ceiling, into the garage ceiling space, then DOWN INSIDE the stud cavity of the right-hand garage wall, emerging behind the charger. ROOF ACCESS No manhole in the garage. Roof is tiles. FINISH - THIS MATTERS MOST No visible conduit or cable anywhere in the garage. Left and rear walls are exposed brick - not to be used. The right-hand wall is plasterboard-lined and is the only one to use. Cable concealed in the ceiling space and dropped inside the wall cavity, not surface-run down the wall face. Charger fixed to studs or backing plate, approx 1.2m off floor. SCOPE - Dedicated 32A single phase circuit, Type A RCD/RCBO to AS/NZS 3000 - Max demand calc, charge rate set accordingly (50A main may mean ~25A) - Isolation switch (I'd prefer it at the switchboard end) - Mount, connect, test, commission via Tesla app (2.4GHz Wi-Fi on site) IN YOUR OFFER - A-grade licence no., REC no., public liability insurance - Cable size + total run length as a FIXED price, not "up to X metres", and whether ceiling insulation changes it - If you must cut the plaster to fish the cable: who patches, is paint included - Workmanship warranty period Timing flexible.
