My 2004 Kia pregio van over heated 2 streets away from my home so I waited an hour for it to cool down before refilling the radiator - Radiator had recently been filled along with oil and brake fluid topped up. It had a major serviced 9mths earlier and minor serviced about 3 months earlier . About 2 weeks before it happened I thought it sounded really load when it was idling that's why I checked all the fluids even though they should have been check with minor serviced. I'm not sure if it's as simple as a split hose or minor leak somewhere or if it's a bigger more expensive issue like the water pump or cracked head gasket. I was hoping to get someone to take a look at it at my home to give me some advice on what the problem might be before I take it drive / or have it towed to a workshop. I'm in North West Tasmania
