They are small pendulum devices based from the show Digimon, similar to Tamagotchis. I believe their circut boards and wiring is needed to be refreshed as they have worked recently and have not been funtioning even with new batteries.

We have high ceilings and our ceiling fan is approx 3m above the ground (ceiling height is 3.2m). You will need to provide a ladder/platform and clean the outside of the fan with some wet cloths to get rid of the dust. Should be pretty quick. Note the fan is in a bedroom at the front of the house and there is a pretty sharp turn from the front door so large long ladders may not fit into the room

Leg on couch has bent, and supporting timber joist has splintered. So when leg is screwed back into hole is it no longer stable. Supporting joist needs to be replaced and leg re-attached
