We are looking for a reliable person in Sydney for ongoing casual work, not just a one-off Airtasker job. We expect approximately 2 days of work per week initially, with the potential for more work in future, servicing all around Sydney (and further). We create evacuation diagrams for commercial buildings. The work generally involves: 1. Site inspections You will walk through buildings and collect the information our design team needs to prepare the diagrams. We will train you on exactly what to look for. This includes: Walking through each level while wearing a GoPro camera provided by us Filming the building layout, corridors, exits and surrounding areas Marking the exact locations of fire equipment, exit signs and other required items on printed floor plans using a pen Taking additional photos and notes where anything is unclear No previous fire-industry experience is required, but you must be observant, thorough and comfortable walking through commercial buildings and active construction sites. 2. Installing evacuation diagrams You may also be asked to install the completed diagrams throughout the building. These are generally A3 laminated signs that need to be positioned correctly, hung straight and installed neatly. Basic handyman experience would be helpful. The rate is $50 per hour. Most jobs will be a minimum of around three hours, with some full-day bookings. I have an outdoor awning 3m x 1m that needs putting up outside the back door. All pieces included for the job. There’s a track that would get attached to the house, awning would slide thru track, metal brackets x 3 attach to awning and then to house. Easy access to house. No stairs. Have big ladder. First 2 photos are new awning to be put up. Second 2 photos are where awning needs to be attached (small white awning will be removed)

A carpenter has just finished putting in a couple of walls for a new bathroom in my granny flat and now I need someone to plaster the board gaps. The walls will be painted over and not tiled over and the walls are villaboard not gyprock as it is a wet area. I have hardies joining compound base coat and top coat plus a couple rolls of joining tape if needed. If you want to use your own materials that is completely fine as well.
