I’ve purchased a replacement curtain rod thread but can’t work out how to thread it correctly, despite plenty of deep breaths, YouTube and ChatGPT help. Please help me thread it correctly and re-mount on the wall.

Tried to screw in bathroom towel hook and the door didn't handle the screw that came with the pack. The hole needs to take a screw and bolt so that i can tighten the hook to the screw. But the door thread is gone and it can't screw in tightly. Need help to fix. Will add photos when someone is ready

Urgent small job before big family gatherings 13–14 Dec (lots of kids & elderly coming). The front row of coping/edge pavers on our raised patio has no mortar left underneath – they rock badly and are a 30 cm trip hazard to the lawn.
