I have a 5m Steel-Line roller door that was taken down for ceiling plasterboard repairs. I need an experienced installer to: ​1- Lift the roller door back onto the brackets. 2- Tension the internal springs correctly so the door operates smoothly and stays balanced. 3- Install a new Chamberlain (or similar) roller door opener. I will provide the motor/drive unit. ​4- Set the travel limits (open/close positions) and ensure the remote is programmed and working. ​Note: This is a large 5m double-car door, so it is heavy. Please ensure you have the necessary equipment/help to lift and secure it safely.

We have two sliding doors that require inspection and repair. The first door is located outside the dining room. It is a timber-framed sliding door with glass panels, approximately 2040 mm high and 1200 mm wide. It runs on two wheels along a bottom track. Due to its age, it no longer slides smoothly and occasionally gets stuck. The lock is also faulty and needs to be repaired or replaced. The second door is a top-hung sliding door, approximately 82 cm wide and 204 cm high. It also does not slide smoothly and occasionally gets stuck on the track. We are looking for an experienced handyman to inspect both doors and carry out the necessary repairs. If the doors cannot be repaired to operate smoothly, please provide a quote for replacement options.

Hi, Need some odd paint jobs- small areas as i am moving out and don' t have the capacity to do it before we move. The only area that needs more work is the front door - the lock has put a hole in the wall so will need a patch up. The kitchen doors have also been painted over- and not sure how we can fix the bottom when its wood chipping away? Please contact me to let me know what are the options you propose. Need this done on the 11th or 12th April

Front Door- Fire brigade came through for medical emergency and used force to open the wooden door. Door needs to be repaired as well as the frame. I don't have the paint, though guidance would be appreciated. Dependent on job and cost, I may be able to pay you in cash.

Scope of works: • Fill and finish 7 x circular ceiling holes (approx. 200mm diameter) from removed ducted heating vents • Repair 1 x rectangular ceiling hole (approx. 515mm x 390mm) • Fill and finish 3 x wall holes where power outlets have been removed • Fill 24 x small wall anchor holes Requirements: • All patches to be properly sheeted where required, set, sanded and ready for painting • Neat, professional finish to blend with existing surfaces • Materials and tools to be supplied by the tasker
