The property is a tenanted 2-bedroom, single-storey unit in Frankston. IMPORTANT: Only ONE opening currently exists. BATHROOM: Faux exhaust fan has already been removed by the electrician, leaving an approx. 350mm opening in the plasterboard ceiling above the shower. KITCHEN: Faux exhaust fan remains in place. The electrician has already inspected it and will remove it immediately before the plasterer attends, leaving an expected approx. 350mm opening. Both replacement fans will likely be Fanco Hybrid 250 ceiling exhaust fans, requiring a 300mm diameter cut-out. SCOPE * Completely repair/close both approx. 350mm openings with suitable plasterboard/backing. Tape, set, finish and sand smooth, ready for painting. * Supply all materials/consumables. * Clean up afterwards. IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT leave a 300mm hole. Both ~350mm openings are to be completely repaired. The electrician will subsequently use the Fanco template to cut the precise 300mm openings and install the new fans. SAME-DAY REQUIREMENT This is a tenanted property and we need to minimise disruption. Preferred sequence: * ~10am: Electrician removes kitchen faux fan. * ~10am onwards: Plasterer repairs both openings. Later that day: Electrician returns to cut the 300mm openings and install both fans. Please only quote if you can use an appropriate rapid-setting repair/jointing system so the repairs are sufficiently hardened for the electrician to cut the new openings later that day. The bathroom is planned for renovation in approximately 6 months, so I do NOT want to replace the entire shower screen at this stage unless it is genuinely beyond repair. I am looking for a sensible, low-cost repair/patch to stop water escaping until the renovation. The likely work may include, as appropriate: * replacing worn/damaged shower-screen seals; * adjusting/alignment of the screen or door; * removing/replacing deteriorated bathroom-grade silicone; * minor sealing or other straightforward repairs needed to prevent shower water escaping. It's difficult to quote fixed price from photos, so would be better on time and materials basis, hourly or daily rate. Ideally someone with carpentry skills as priority task is to replace fascia boards on the front of house, and replace 5x upright timber posts on the porch. Looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, and efficient as I know what needs to be done, but with 6 kids and both parents working full time...... I'm a little time poor.
