Hi, I need an experienced handyman / fencer to replace 1 rotted front gate post and re-hang the existing heritage gate. Scope of work: 1. Dig out the old rotten timber post and break/remove the existing concrete footing. *Note: Careful hand-digging is required as there is an NBN/Telstra lead-in conduit nearby (BYDA plan attached in photos).* 2. Supply and install a new Heavy Duty Galvanised Post Stirrup (e.g. Pryda Full Stirrup / High Wind anchor) set in fresh Rapid Set concrete to prevent future rot. 3. Supply and fit a new matching timber post (100x100mm or 125x125mm with a Pyramid post cap to match the left post). 4. Re-hang and align the existing wooden gate with proper heavy-duty hinges/latch so it opens smoothly. 5. Rubbish disposal: Take away the old concrete waste and rotten timber debris. All materials (Pryda stirrup, timber post, post cap, rapid set concrete, heavy duty bolts) and tools to be supplied by the tasker. Please provide a quote for the full job including materials and waste removal. If you can also supply/build a new lightweight matching Federation cross gate, please mention your option and separate quote in your offer. Thanks!

As you can see from the photos: * one door is completely off the pole. * The other door, on the top side, seems like a hook is missed. The wood post is still quite solid to my opinion. Looking for an experienced handyman or fencing contractor to repair a timber front fence in Surrey Hills. Work required: Replace one broken gate hinge. Reattach the fence panel to the timber post (panel has separated from the post). Repair the cracked bottom timber rail of the fence panel, or replace it if it cannot be repaired. Please see the attached photos for the condition. I've also included a close-up photo of the cracked bottom rail to show its size and condition. I would like the fence and gate restored so they are secure and functioning properly. Please quote for labour only. If replacement materials are required (for example, if the bottom rail cannot be repaired), please discuss this with me first before proceeding. Material costs can be charged separately if agreed.

Hi There are plaster wall and i would like to make an arch shape gate.

We need one of our automated gate brackets welded up before it breaks off. The other one is fine. We only have normal 240v 10AMP power. The other gate is fine as it was already fixed.

The sliding gate comes off the position easily, due to minimum contact between the roller guide & the gate, as shown in the photo.
