We have a strong, unexplained smell coming from our bathroom. We have already thoroughly cleaned the toilet, sink, shower and bath with vinegar, but the smell remains. The smell becomes noticeably stronger when the bathroom exhaust fan is switched on, so we suspect there may be a dead rodent/animal in the ceiling cavity or exhaust ducting, but we’re not certain. The gate came out of the hinge and it is quite a large one. The gate was taken out because it was hanging, Need someone to put it back, should have tools and knowledge to put it back on and needs new hinges. I can give a hand if needed.
