I am looking for an experienced, reliable handyman to alter my side timber fence to clear space for a newly installed solar battery setup. The job requires moving a section of the existing side fence slightly backward along the house wall line. To maintain security and ease of access to the meters/battery, I also need a functional pedestrian door/gate with a secure latch integrated into the new position. Scope of work includes: Carefully dismantling the target section of the existing side fence. Re-setting/shifting the fence line slightly backward to open up the required wall space. Constructing or installing a sturdy gate/door within the shifted section. Installing a reliable outdoor gate latch/lock hardware. Ensuring the structure is stable, aligned, and securely attached to the post/wall. Requirements: Please bring your own tools (post hole digger/shovels, saw, drill, level, etc.). Prior experience with timber fencing and gate installation is a must. Materials can be discussed—please let me know if your quote includes basic timber/hardware or if we should source it together. Have two gates on either side of the house that don’t close properly. One needs to be realigned and the other needs latch fixed and something posted to the ground to hold the bolt in place

Repair side gate fence as it won't close as the gate is binding against the post. The gap is too tight for it to swing shut.
