We have a driveway and pedestrian gate that needs a refresh. Ideally a sand blast to remove old paint and strip, a seal/rust treatment and a new coat of paint. The driveway gate is a double and the pedestrian is a pretty normal gate. Both gates are pretty simple is design without a lot of ornate detail.

I'm looking for someone to reinstall my existing front metal pedestrian gate after new concrete has been poured. The gate was removed to allow the concreting works to be completed. Because the new footpath has a slightly different finished level, the gate will need to be adjusted and rehung so that it: - Opens and closes smoothly - Has adequate clearance over the new concrete - Is level and aligned with the brick pillars The existing hinges, latch and gate will all be reused if possible. The job may require minor adjustment of the hinge position or hardware to suit the new levels. I'd also like the timber fence on the other side of the brick pillar (along the property boundary) inspected and secured. It has started leaning away, so I'm looking for someone who can anchor or brace it back into position if possible. Photos of the gate before removal, the current opening and the leaning fence are attached. Location: Hawthorn VIC Preferred date: Ideally this week, although I'm happy to discuss availability. Electric gate moving slowly. Has happened before in cold weather and capacitor needed changing - suspect it is same issue

The side fence was replaced and the gate is no longer aligned, it cannot be closed properly, the gate or hopefully just the latch needs re-alignment. Should probably only take a few minutes for someone with the skills and tools.

My driveway entry gate is not functioning properly and needs attention/service. It’s an automatic sliding gate powered by a Tau K100M motor. See photos. The gate will not open without manual effort as the cog on the motor will not grip on the gate frame (to pull and slide it open). It closes no problem. I have a video that shows this clearly. I’ve examined the parts and there doesn’t appear to be any wear and tear causing this. I suspect it just needs realignment now and then.

The front gate is very difficult to open and close as it has gradually dropped and touches the ground. I assume it needs to be re-hung.

Side fence with gate in centre 2300mm wide. One post moves needs to be replaced and cemented in so will not move

Hi there, Our building inspector suggested we get a licensed plumber in to check out a damp issue at the property my partner and I are looking to buy. There are a couple of leaks in the bathroom, from the shower head, between the shower screen and the wall, and the main concern is the dampness showing up in the bedroom wall (right next to the bathroom) we’re not sure what’s causing it. I have purchased two baby gates ready to install at my home. Need a handy man to do the installation. The gates come with clips, screws etc but need someone handy to install. Will be fixed to plaster wall, stair case rail and a brick wall so mix drilling required. Need someone who knows what they’re doing fixing things to walls

Remove existing spacers used to secure pet divider to wall, then re-secure pet divider to wall using either two small timber blocks or one vertical piece of timber to plug the gap between divider and wall and using bigger screws and plugs than existing, so the wall hooks do not come off the wall. Affix a garden gate latch (byo screws). Also fix a sticky garden gate and a front door twist knob lock that no longer turns. Photos included. Probably will only take 10-15 minutes.
