Replace thermocouple on old gas furnace under my house (I am 99% sure this is the issue why the pilot light keeps going out).

1. Remove the 270L gas water heater from the recessed external wall cavity (right side of the house) near the bedroom. It is easily accessible from outside. The unit is decommissioned, drained, and disconnected from water pipes and gas supply (capped off) for quite a while. Just need to take it out. 2. Infill the recess (approx. 50cm X 28cm) with bricks so that the finish is flush with the existing external wall. Bricks will be supplied.
