The new induction unit already fits the stone cutout perfectly, so no cabinetry modifications are needed. The old unit just needs to be safely isolated, disconnected, and the line capped and pressure-tested. Must be a licensed plumber. Must provide a Gas Certificate of Compliance upon completion (needed for an energy rebate claim).

The new 60cm gas hotplate will require fixing to bench, hole to be drilled into cabinetry to run the electrical plug and gas regulator / pipework to existing gas outlet and existing power point. I have retained the previous gas pipework if required but I believe it will require new copper pipe to be shaped and flared to fit new gas hotplate inlet location and new hole in cabinetry to access electrical power and gas outlet
