Hi there, I’m looking for someone experienced to help install skirting boards in two bedrooms and one closet of my apartment. The existing skirting boards are a bit old — I’m happy to reuse them if possible, but I can buy new ones if needed. The main challenge is that the wall base is uneven and the concrete behind is crumbly in some spots, so you’ll need to help pack out the gaps or install battens to give the skirting something to fix to. What I need help with: • Inspecting and advising whether current skirtings can be reused • Fixing or packing gaps (foam, battens, or similar) • Installing and securing skirting boards (screws or adhesive) • Clean, professional finish (I’ll take care of painting) I can assist with lifting, measuring, and prep — just need someone with the tools and know-how to make sure it’s done properly. While moving furniture, small wreck on skirting board

I need a piece of skirting board installed of about 1m length. This is part of the nook where the fridge used to sit. I had to pull that piece of skirting board off to make the fridge fit. Due to selling the house I need that piece of skirting board re-installed (of course didn't keep the original piece that got removed). It needs to join an existing piece in the back of the nook. The previous carpenter unfortunately didn't do a 45 degree join for the corner but the new piece needs to be contoured to fit the existing back piece. In addition, there is another piece towards the front kitchen aisle that also didn't have a 45 degree corner join. I pulled it of before I realised that this piece not square either but tapering down (I still have that piece). In short, I need a 1 meter piece of skirting board installed that joins with a back and a front piece. I have 2.4m of skirting board of the profile required. Also have some wood glue. Everything else needed I can organise if you tell me what else is needed. I don't have the time or tools to do the job myself. I'm guessing that this should be a very simple job and shouldn't take any longer than 1/2h of work for someone who knows what he's doing. I don't require any painting to be done. Just make a new piece of skirting to join neatly with the back and front piece.

Hi there! I'm looking for someone who can help me with two tasks: Skirting Boards – I need them cut to size and nailed in please, I have the skirting boards currently cut in 2.7m lengths. IKEA Billy Bookcases – I’ve already assembled 4 Billy bookcases (with extensions), I just need them securely fixed to the wall. I do just need a small cut in the back of the book case for an electrical plug to come through please. Floor plan in last photo! I have purchased decorative moulding so be installed in the following rooms: - 2 x bedrooms - 1 x hallway - entryway - lounge room - small part of kitchen Second floor apartment. Walls are rendered brick. Old skirting has been removed. I have 24 lengths of 5.4m of skirting on-site in my garage. I have power available with a long extension lead for tools. I can help with some of the labour (such as taking cut pieces upstairs). Desperate for this to be done Friday as we are moving in Sunday and need time to paint it. The guy I had hired to do the job flaked on me :(
