We need the floors of the 1975 home we just purchased sanded and refinished before we move in on the 2nd of Jan. they are currently stained a really dark colour with a shiny finish and we want to take them back to their more natural tone with a matte finish. I’m not entirely sure of the square meterage but I will add photos of the areas to be sanded if you are able to estimate. I also will add the floor plan with the area to be sanded highlighted and photos of before the floor was stained darker. There are two small sets of stairs also. If exact measurements are required I will have them after the 22nd of December.

I’m looking for an experienced flooring specialist or carpenter to repair a section of solid timber hardwood flooring in a walk-in robe. Two small walls have been recently removed, leaving gaps in the flooring. I’d like the smaller sections of timber flooring lifted and relaid so that the seams/join lines are repositioned to run along the back walls of the robe — these will be easily hidden behind new cabinetry going in soon. Job details: • Remove and lift small sections of existing timber flooring • Reposition and relay timber boards so seams are placed at the back of the robe • Ensure the repair is level and flush with existing flooring Please note that I do not have any replacement boards unfortunately, The holes are temporarily covered with mdf sections so there is not holes in the floor but these are not level and flimsy so need a proper solution to use for the repair. We need the hardwood floors sanded in our new house. It’s a 1955 cottage. We know there is hardwood flooring under the carpet however we are unsure as to the condition, so this job is subject to us ripping up the carpet and ensuring the hardwoods are in good condition. Also we are willing to prep the hardwood (ripping out staples, nails etc), however feel free to quote for that too. Space to be done is approx 60-65sqm. The areas circled in red in the floor plan.
