I have two fixtures that need to be installed, one above the kitchen counter and the other above the dining table. Both have existing wiring left in the ceiling, prepared for installation. Only the light above the dining table will require an extension, as we have relocated the table; however, there is already existing wiring in the ceiling. All the lights are connected to a 5-gang switch, and I would prefer to separate these two lights to a dimmer switch instead. This is a brand new house.

This began shortly after Western Water shut off and restored mains supply in town due to burst water mains, so I’m concerned there may be an issue with water pressure, the PTR valve, or pressure/expansion control valves.
