Currently, the garage appears to be supplied through a 20A breaker from the main switchboard, and there are also two breakers in the garage sub-board. I am planning to install/use a 7kW EV wall charger and would like to know if the existing garage circuit can be upgraded safely. Please quote for: Inspecting the existing cable size and route from the main switchboard to the garage Checking whether the garage sub-board and supply can support a higher load Confirming whether the existing 20A breaker can safely be upgraded, or whether new cabling is required Upgrading the main switchboard breaker and garage sub-board breakers only if compliant and safe Installing appropriate RCD/RCBO protection as required Advising the maximum safe EV charger amperage for the current setup Providing a quote for either: safe breaker upgrade only, if the cable supports it, or new dedicated EV charger circuit if required Please note I do not want a breaker upgrade unless the existing cable and board are rated for it.
