Stack F&P heat pump dryer onto 10kg front loader + level washer Hawthorn, Melbourne. F&P 428122 stacking kit already fitted to the washer — the frame is on, this is the lift and final fixing. The complication: rear brackets can’t be accessed in position. The machines sit in a corner with a shelf overhead. Job needs to be assembled clear of the wall, then the assembled tower repositioned approx 300–400mm back. Two-person job. Levelling: washer needs to be checked and properly levelled with locknuts set before the dryer goes on. No second chance once it’s stacked. Floor is mixed tile and old vinyl, uneven and soft in places. Please bring: appliance glide pads or skates (machines are on rubber feet — they need to be shifted foot by foot, they don’t slide), spirit level, shifter, ratchet strap, and a right-angle drill attachment or stubby driver in case the rear fixings are tight. Rear clearance of at least 20mm must be maintained — heat pump dryer, has had a thermal-related repair. Suit appliance installers or removalists rather than general handyman.

Looking to complete two installation jobs. Job 1: Artwork Hang 1x large artwork (125cm x 155cm, approx 10kg) onto an internal brick wall. It has 2x D-rings on the back (must hang directly on two screws, no wire). Job 2: Ceiling Hook Drill and install 1x hook into the ceiling to hang a plug-in light fixture. Physical installation only, no electrical wiring required. I am unsure what the ceiling is made of (could be plaster, concrete, or brick). Tasker to bring an electronic stud finder / multi-detector to check the ceiling and ensure you do not hit any electrical wires or pipes before drilling. Hardware: Tasker to supply all necessary hardware (or advise prior what needs to be purchased), including 2x heavy-duty masonry wall plugs/screws for the brick wall, and appropriate heavy-duty ceiling anchors (bring options for both hollow plasterboard and solid concrete/brick ceilings). Please bring a hammer drill, masonry bits, and a spirit level. I can assist with lifting the artwork into place.

Floor lamp stopped working

A power socket has popped out of place and needs to be fixed. Should be a simple job for someone who has the skills

Most of these lights have gone out and I was told I have to replace the whole thing. (Is it true?) I’m looking for an electrician to remove the fixture and just replace with other fixtures. I’m thinking to get pendant Fluorescent hanging lamps but just wanted to check if it’s easy to do. Pls make an offer
