I have a 7.1 Kw Westinghouse split system needing to be installed. Back to back installation, single storey, about 6-7 metres from the power/mains box. Mains/metre box is old with ceramic fuses. If I get a really good quote, I might also get another 5.1Kw system installed at my other place in Maribyrnong. It is on the first floor, back to back system. I may also get a quote to have 4 ceiling fans installed in my house in Thomastown too.

Need licensed electrician to help with work around the house, 1. Fix or rewire existing ceiling fan. It doesnt turned off even when we rekey the unit/remote and battery replaced, we have to trip the main switch to shut it down. Will need to get it looked at and potentially set up a dedicated wall switch for it. 2. Replace 2 existing (hardwired) smoke alarms. Both alarms will be supplied by us (Brooks EIB3024 and EIB3014) and will need to be hardwired and connected to each other (via hardwire) 3. Remove old kitchen ceiling exhaust which is no longer working. Exhaust to be taken out and any wire to be terminated safely. No patching or painting will be required. 4. Remove old wall heater and evap cooling remotes. Just need it to be removed safely with any wire terminated properly. The heater and evap themselves have been decomissioned and removed. Looking for a licensed electrician to install a standard power point in my walk-in wardrobe. There is currently no power point in the room, but there is a ceiling light with a wall on/off switch.

The middle of three vertical switches turns on and off lights in the kitchen. It has become a bit dodgy, sometimes not working. It's probably just a small physical problem inside the switch. The switch feels slightly mechanically wobbly. So need the switch removed, wires re-attached to new switch and replaced. Ten minutes work for a certified sparkie??
