Specs: Motherboard- ASUS P9X79 PRO Cpu- i7 3820 Graphics card- gtx 1050ti Ram- 16gb ddr3 hyperx ram 500 watt power supply Storage- 2TB samsung 870 evo internal SSD and another internal 256GB SSD Three days ago, PC suddenly gives the ‘Warning! BIOS Recovery Mode has been detected! Put the file “P9X79PRO.ROM” into a removable USB media device, and reset your computer…” I did not manually update my BIOS, nor am I tech savvy. I’m unable to access BIOS pressing keys. Unsure if this happened due to hardware issues or software issues. The PC is very old but second hand and I only used it for 6 months. I would like a professional to help: - Clear CMOS battery - Investigate the PC (motherboard, bios chip, fans) - Possibly flash BIOS if no other choice, per instructions of the technician. I have a 16GB Fat32 2.0 usb available for this, but do not have another windows laptop to download the BIOS firmware. May the technician bring a windows laptop. Clear BIOS password on HP Elitebook 8440P using the HPBR utility. These require a flash-drive boot and run the HPBR utility. This is not a laptop you can simply remove the main battery and CMOS battery and password will clear. For someone with the experience it will take about 5 min each and I have 3 HPs. $20ea = $60 - Due date: Flexible

My HP Spectre 360 (Windows 11) laptop did a BIOS upgrade. It restarted with a Temporary profile and I have not been able to fix this. Support from HP and Microsoft have not helped. I have gone into Registry Editor and to the Profilelist directory. I have tried deleting the Temporary profile and renaming the Permanent profile. However, these changes are not saved when doing a restart. I have seemed to have lost nearly all my files. - Due date: Flexible

Edit Asus s400c Laptop won’t turn on every time. All other factors eliminated. Did turn on after bios battery pulled for a number of hours. Asus laptop opens up in ez bios mode. Have tried rebooting and doing tutorials from you tube etc. It's an SSD. Hard drive may be broken UX360U notebook

1:- Im' RE-building a PC. Need the Mini ITX Motherboard connected to the PSU and Case. CPU, Nvme, Ram, cooler all mounted up. Stopped working when turning on from Case power button. Took out Mobo with all above peripherals connected. Turned on and booted without being connected to case (Via pin jump). Tested PSU on other PC fine. Ruled = PSU, GPU, RAM, MOBO, CPU. Need to Reconnect Wiring Case to MOBO and PSU to cabling (my shortfall) to MOBO to Case to troubleshoot alongside with someone that understands PC's and that i can talk "PC" with whilst rebuilding/troubleshooting. ASRock Intel H470M-ITX/ac LGA1200 mini ITX Cooler Master M5 Low profile CPU cooler Kingston HyperX Fury 2x8GB DDR4 3200 RAM Samsung EVO 970 NVMe M.2 250GB Cooler Master 550W White 80+ Plus PSU non Modular CPU = Intel i5-10400 4.3 LGA1200 Cooler Master Mini ITX with 200mm RGB LED front Fan. 250Gb Samsung SSD. 4GB Nvidia Geoforce 1050Ti GPU Need to be wired up to Motherboard and connected Mini ITX case along with Non Modular PSU. Turn on and boot = job done. (windows 10 and all other programs already already installed) Windows solely installed on NVMe for quick booting. 2. Update BIOS on Dell optiplex SFF 9020. Goes into boot loop, doesn't POST. Have downloaded updated BIOS file. Have reset CMOS, run MEmtest86, REset DIMM slots, switched DIMM slots, tried new RAM etc. Need a bootable USB with BIOS file created. Update BIOS and boot the PC = Job done. (Windows 10 with latest update already installed on SSD) Approx 2 hours factored in to do both of these. Im not a "noob" with computers but need a hand with the above so if you're a cowboy don't bother replying.
